Schneider Weisse

Schneider Weisse is the oldest wheat beer brewery in Bavaria and they still are a family brewery as well. These days the sixth generation is in the helm and the 7th generation is also involved already. The brewery is in Kelheim, north from Munich. Over 90% of all the raw materials used come from 100 km radius from the brewery!

Schneider Weisse still brews their weissbier super traditionally, in open vessels and truly bottle conditioned – this yields authentic, rich taste profile you have become to expect from them.

The beers to mention from their wide portfolio are definitely Aventinus – their dark and strong, authentic weizenbock and the beautiful Original, the weissbier which has been brewed with the original recipe since 1872!
