Thornbridge

The British craft brewery Thornbridge started their operation in 2005 in Derbyshire, roughly in the middle of England, approx. 25km south from Sheffield.

In the beginning Thornbridge operated in the stately mansion of Thornbridge Hall, but has since moved to bigger premises just outside the historic village of Bakewell. The area around Thornbridge is called Peak District. The natural beauty and rolling hills invite you for a bike ride or hiking – and Thornbridge also has a great taproom which doubles as a visiting center. Definitely a place worth visiting!

The motto of Thornbridge describes them perfectly: Innovation. Passion. Knowledge. Their beers have won hundreds of prices in the international competitions as well as in the tough environment of their home country. The flagship beer Jaipur IPA alone has won close to 200 prices!

Jaipur IPA was created during the very first operational year and launched Thornbridge in rocket-like growth. Still this day Jaipur is a big portion of the brewery’s production and also with us Jaipur makes more than a quarter of all the sales of Thornbridge!
