Pivovar Samson

Pivovar Samson was founded in 1795 in the city of České Budějovice.

The brewery was originally established by the city’s German-speaking residents. In 1872, it began exporting to the United States, making it one of the first Czech breweries to do so. In 1945, the brewery was nationalized, and it wasn’t until 1992 that it became privately owned again. Since then, it has undergone extensive modernization, and in 2011, the brewery experienced a revival with a bold redesign of its visual identity.

AB InBev has owned the brewery since 2014.
