Brouwerij Boon

The history of Brouwerij Boon extends as far as 1680’s- The roots are on a farm in Lembeek and lambic and faro have been brewed there since the very beginning. After some colourful phases, year 1927, the brewery was bought by Mr. Josez De Vits. His son René sold the brewery to Mr. Frank Boon in 1975.

During Frank Boon’s era the brewery has risen into new hights. Brouwerij Boon – and Frank – have been in the forefront fighting for the status of “traditional lambic” in the pressure of the filtered and sugared, more commercial lambics.

January 1st 2021 Frank officially retired and his sons Karel and Jos are now running the brewery.
